We're in...

We did it - managed to move house at 6 days' notice! The Boy and I spent 11 days living in a caravan whilst The Husband sorted out the very worst aspects of our new house and made it safe and somewhat less stinky.

It's a great space - decoratively speaking, everything in it has got to come out and be replaced, but that's long-term thinking. We're dealing with fag-ash riddled carpets and curtains and some very dodgy electrics and heating just now...

The Boy loves it - so much more space for streaking around stark naked after his bath, and playing in the garden - the neighbours are greeted every morning by his little voice saying 'Daddy get the dog poo...'.

Still, we're in, we're happy, and we're knackered. Normal service will resume as soon as I am not surrounded by cardboard boxes.

Glad to be back - I've got a lot of catching up to do. To answer your questions, fine (probably a girl!), yes and yes - another reason I've not been so keen to sit at the keyboard recently. Feels a bit like being rogered up the arse with a pineapple when I stand back up - oh, was that too much information?!

Cracking up at the rogered up the arse with a pineapple comment. LOL...Having had twins I can totally relate. Just get yourself a rubber ring to sit on darl, it helps...A LOT.

Glad to see that you are in at least. The rest will follow soon enough but you're IN and no longer in a caravan...YIPPEE.

Glad the CPR worked and you're back in the land of the living....kinda.

At least the nekid boy is leaving the dog poo outside - it could have been worse!

Gypsy: Hadn't thoguht of a rubber ring, but given that these problems are arising (or should that be descending?!), compared to last time round, I might well do that! At least this time I know that they definitely DO go away after the birth!

Queen Goob: We have to lock him in the house whilst we go on 'poo patrol' - the consequences of not doing so would be too dire to think about! I'm just grateful that the dog is leaving the dog poo outside - he's not always so considerate!
